This year, onelife is proud to be working in conjunction with Zichron Menachem. Zichron Menachem is an Israeli organization dedicated to the support of children with cancer and their families. This association is committed to improving the lives of cancer-stricken children and teens through activities, camps and retreats, volunteer work in hospitals, and in their state-of-the-art day care center.
The day care center, located in Jerusalem, is a wonderful place that encompasses all of Zichron Menachem’s family services – alternative medicine, physical therapy and rehabilitation, counseling, support group networks, enrichment programs, parenting guidance, and lectures.
Zichron Menachem also sponsors their Camps and Special Retreats programs. Three times a year, 120 children and teens with cancer are taken on magnificent trips around the world. It’s a chance for them to recharge their batteries, acquire a new energy and love for life, and return home with a renewed faith and drive to continue their fight. An on-site portable hospital is fully equipped and prepared to deal with the patients’ needs at all times. A professional oncology faculty ensures safety and allows Zichron Menachem to turn the dreams of hundreds of children into reality.
At Zichron Menachem, the core belief is that support for a child with cancer is support for the entire family.
